We would like to inform you that our annual fall dinner gala has been postponed to TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22ND6:30PM (REGISTRATION) DINNER 7PM AT THE COAST COAL HARBOUR HOTEL IN VANCOUVER.
Earlier in 2011, the Canadian and Japanese Governments re-engaged in discussions targeting an Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA). Although this announcement was soon eclipsed by the natural disaster following on 3.11, it does represent a milestone in Canada’s relationship with Japan. We are proud to have hosted Round Tables for both the Canadian Ambassador and the Minister of International Trade in February when the EPA announcement was made. These were great opportunities to show our support to both governments and it is in keeping with this theme that we would like to welcome all Society members and their guests to dinner with Ambassador Fried.
This year, we have invited our affiliated Canada-Japan related organizations and the various societies interested in Japan to welcome Ambassador Fried together, it will be enlightening and a great opportunity to network.
