Ian Burney named Canada’s ambassador to Japan

Foreign Affairs Minister Stéphane Dion today announced the appointment of Ian Burney as Canada’s ambassador to Japan, replacing Mackenzie Clugston.

The Canada-Japan Society of British Columbia welcomes Ian Burney to this key post. We look forward to his leadership in moving Canada’s trade agenda with Japan ahead.

Canada-Honduras FTA in 2014

Canada-Panama FTA in 2013

Canada-Jordan FTA in 2012

Canada-Colombia FTA in 2011

Canada-Peru FTA in 2009

Canada-European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland) FTA in 2009
