The Canada Japan Society of British Columbia is happy to announce that it has been awarded the 2019 Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation in acknowledgement of our contribution to the promotion of friendship between Japan and Canada.
The award was formally presented to CJSBC President Don Campbell by Consul General Takashi Hatori on Tuesday October 8, 2019. We humbly thank the Government of Japan for this important award which was presented at a wonderful award ceremony and reception kindly hosted by Consul General Takashi Hatori at his official residence. In attendance were CJSBC board members, Executive Committee spouses, and staff of the Japanese Consulate General in Vancouver.
