To members and friends of The Canada-Japan Society of British Columbia

It is with deep sadness and a great sense of loss that we learned of the passing of our dear friend, A. John Ellis, OC, ORS, LLD (Hon) SFU. He was a remarkable man who led an extraordinary life.

John was Past President (1968/1969), Honorary Member and Honorary Vice President of our Society, and treasured his connection with the Canada-Japan business community. We will miss his sage advice, warm generosity and good humour.
