On December 17th, it was officially announced that Mr. Seiji Okada, Minister of the Embassy of Japan in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, has been appointed as the new Consul-General of Japan in Vancouver. He is expected to arrive in Vancouver on January 25th.
