The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and the Foreign Press Centre/Japan announced the awarding of the 2010/2011 Foreign Press Center/Japan Media Fellowship to Nancy MacDonald, a Canadian journalist from Maclean’s Magazine.

During her fellowship, Ms. MacDonald will explore the potential and pitfalls of Japan’s economy as it comes face-to-face with hard realities of a changing political, demographic, and business landscape. The fellowship, financed by the Foreign Press Center/Japan, provides Ms. MacDonald with the opportunity to spend up to 11 days in Japan for first-hand research and reporting on Japan.
