John McInnes recently returned to Vancouver after spending twenty years in Tokyo as a photographer, writer and English teacher.  In Tokyo, his clients included the Canadian Embassy, the Délégation Générale du Québec, McGill University (Japan MBA program), the Canadian and American Chambers of Commerce, the Asahi Weekly as well as ANA and Korean Airlines’ in-flight magazines.  His photographs have also been published in four Lonely Planet travel guides.

Soon after arriving in Vancouver, he had the good fortune to meet some members of the Canada–Japan Society of British Columbia and he photographed the 2011 annual golf tournament.  John looks forward to making new relationships in the Canadian – Japanese community and also to building on the relationships that he has already made.
